SXM Cultural Trends Report
Background:

The Culture Trends Report is a new kind of report that proves how audio is driving culture. Inkling Agency was approached by workxwork to design and develop this report for SXM Media. Curated by SXM Media and Fluency, four expert ambassadors share what consumers care about and how to reach them by taking a deep dive into the listener’s mindset and providing advertising tips on reaching podcasts’ prime audiences.

Goal:

The goal of the project was to craft the creative direction for the report, handle the UX and web design. The report was broken down into five trends that signify how people are experiencing their own cultural fluidity through audio. The client wanted a one scroll website that takes the viewer through a beginning to end journey of the report with illustrations, various data visualizations, and events. We had to create a set theme for each trend in order to differentiate them from each other and design icons and data sets for each event that occurred in that trend. We also focused on full-stack development of the interactive report, designed a downloadable PDF report, and produced assets for the multi-media campaign launch.

My Role:

I worked on designing the trends report website. My responsibilities ranged from creating both low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes for each trend to designing the intro and concluding experiences. I also focused on shaping the layout and theme for each event and data set within every trend. My primary aim was to guide the viewer through an engaging and informative visual journey of top 2022 cultural trends.
