About me

Hey there! I’m Sanika, a product designer based in NY, specialized in building zero-to-one products and thriving in fast-moving environments. I've had the opportunity to work on a diverse range of products across various industries such as health-tech, music broadcasting, AI, cyber-security, podcasting, and many more. Working at different startups, a creative agency, and freelancing, I've had an incredibly impactful journey so far filled with strong collaborations, communication, and detail-orientated work. I attended the Parsons School of Design - The New School, where I majored in Communication Design and minored in Creative Entrepreneurship.

As a designer, I thrive on team collaborations, savoring constructive feedback, and producing products that leave a lasting impression. In my view, a flawless yet purposeful design is powered by empathy, functionality, and a well-structured visual hierarchy.

When I'm not glued to my screen, you can find me breaking a sweat, cooking up a delicious vegetarian dish, exploring a new city, or seeking out new spots to fulfill my sweet tooth.
